Job Description
Are you an experienced financial professional looking for a challenging role in the automotive industry?Our client is seeking a skilled Financial Manager to join their dynamic team.Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure adequate financial control within the entity, identifying areas for improvement and implementing controls to mitigate key risks.
- Prepare monthly management reports and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Lead the annual financial audit process.
- Manage the Treasury portfolio, optimize working capital funds, and maintain key funding relationships.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including SARS taxation and FICA requirements.
- Oversee debtor's collection, ensuring credit risk mitigation and timely collections.
- Oversee accounts payable, ensuring the timely payment of financial obligations.
- Handle day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including team management.
- BCom Accounting Degree or equivalent
- Proven experience in a panel shop environment (automotive industry)
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of relevant financial legislation and compliance standards
