Job Description

You will spearhead the preparation and analysis of weekly management accounts, performing variance analysis and delivering insightful commentary. In collaboration with Operational Management, youll review financial results and present thorough weekly Financial-Operational and Capex reports. You will also manage the annual operational budget process, ensuring all forecasts are up-to-date and Capex budgets and project reports are meticulously prepared.Your responsibilities include preparing cash flow forecasts, managing operational cash flows, and overseeing the review and approval of EFT payments. You will also schedule quarterly stock counts, manage critical stock levels, and maintain standard cost calculations along with the item master schedule. Additionally, youll ensure the proper design and functionality of internal controls, document Standard Operating Procedures, and train staff accordingly.You will manage the fixed assets register, track asset movements, and reconcile the fixed assets register with the general ledger. Furthermore, youll oversee the local finance team, compile the annual insurance declaration, and handle various ad-hoc financial tasks.Skills:
Working knowledge of IFRS
SA income tax and VAT
Attention to detail with high accuracy
Experience with EXCOQualification:
CA(SA) / ACMA, CGMA
Minimum 8 years post articles
