Job Summary
Monthly management accounts, profit estimates, forward forecast, divisional reports
Full house accounting function
Year-end accounting pack
Monthly tax computations and tax packs
Reviewing and approval of policies and procedures
Review Customer Accounts & handle bad debts and handover process
Procedure familiarisation and coaching of staff
Insurance renewal documents
Manage day-to-day accounting issues
BBBEE renewal documents
Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and bank reconciliation
Review creditors recons and enforce payment
Review GL recons monthly
Assist staff with problem areas in your units
Sage Accounting
Medical Aid representative for staff
Prepare VAT return
Preparation of budgets & presentation thereof
Capex control and maintaining the fixed asset register
Control GL posting
Annual WCA assessment
Tax Clearance: Review all SARS accounts to ensure good standing
Reconcile timesheets with payroll reports, and authorize for payment
Take responsibility and review actual against budget
Review statutory requirements periodically for compliance
Responsible person for Internal Audits
Responsible person for External Audits

Skills & Experience:
Strong technical skills
Assertive personality, good people and communication skills
Time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualification:
BCom Accounting or similar
