Financial Manager with CCS / Buildsmart requiredGeneral Description of Position
This position is responsible for the financial management of the business and is accountable for the overall
financial business processes, procedures, and systems that include the day-to-day administration of all
transactional data, the monthly provision of management reports, the weekly/monthly/annual preparation of
information to meet the requirements of shareholders, clients, suppliers, SARS, B-BBEE and other legislative
intuitions where the presentation of financial information is required.The responsibilities of this position also include, inter alia:
xe2x96xaa The process and management of the day-to-day financial operations, such as payroll, invoicing, and
other transactions
xe2x96xaa Overseeing financial department employees
xe2x96xaa Contracting outside services for tax preparation, auditing, banking, etc.
xe2x96xaa Tracking the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
xe2x96xaa Provide information and expectations to the business to aid decision-making and strategy development
xe2x96xaa Present financial reports to board members, stakeholders, executives, and clients
xe2x96xaa Stay up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial purposes
xe2x96xaa Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
xe2x96xaa Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislationWork Experience Requirements
xe2x96xaa 5+ Years' Accounting/ Financial Management experience in a similar environment, of which at least 2-
3 years in a Team Leadership / Management Role.
xe2x96xaa In-depth knowledge of Financial Management and taxation guidelines
xe2x96xaa Ability to build relationships while asking tough questions
xe2x96xaa Excellent written and oral communication ability, English and Afrikaans
xe2x96xaa Strong time management and organizational skills
xe2x96xaa Demonstrated ability with Power BIs, Smartform / Sharepoint
xe2x96xaa Proven ability with BuildSmart
xe2x96xaa Advanced computer literacy - Microsoft Outlook (PowerPoint / Excel / Word / Email)
xe2x96xaa Prior experience in a Financial Manager Role in Construction or similar
xe2x96xaa Experience in working with a diverse range of people and positionsEducation Requirements
B Degree NQF 8 specializing in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
xe2x96xaa Formal Course in Pastel / Payroll or similar
xe2x96xaa Formal Training in BuildSmart
