Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently partnering with a leading renewable energy firm seeking a Financial Manager to join their team in Cape Town.
In your role as Financial Manager, your tasks include generating financial reports, overseeing investments, organizing the NSE's financial records, strategizing for debt repayment and business growth, ensuring tax compliance, and collaborating with other departments to achieve financial objectives.Responsibilities

• Prepare business activity reports, financial statements, and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial legal requirements.
• Develop financial reporting systems.
• Analyze financial reports and business processes to reduce or control costs.
• Assist management in financial decision-making.
• Collect, interpret, and review financial information.
• Report to management and stakeholders, providing insights on potential impacts of business decisions.
• Monitor and manage budgets.
• Develop strategies to minimize financial risk.
• Supervise and support the finance team.
• Collaborate with the accounting team on daily projects and activities.
• Assist in preparing financial statements according to company policies.
• Create financial status and analysis reports for the Board of Directors.
• Ensure compliance with institutional policies and regulations by the financial team.
• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Prepare the financial system for internal and external audits.

Requirements

• A minimum qualification of a B.COM or other accounting qualification.
• CA(SA) status would be a distinct advantage
• Ideally Qualified SAIPA Accountant
• Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse
