Closing Date: 2024-10-23Job Type: PermanentJob Level: SeniorExperience: Between 5 - 7 YearsEE/AA: NoSummaryOur client in Pretoria is recruiting for Financial Officer - SASWITCH RealT to join their teamDescriptionRole:Daily Balancing and Reconciliation of all transactions processed via the various Systems as a Financial Administrative serviceBalancing and reconciliation items to be reflected with 100% accuracy in terms of all transactions processedEnsure immediate corrective actions in terms of reconciliation / balancing itemsMinimum RequirementsEducation and Qualifications:BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant fieldMatric or equivalent qualification recognised by the Department of Higher Education & TrainingSkills and Experience:Financial Professional with extensive experience in reconciliations with at least 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role handling Bank and Cashbook reconciliationsExtensive experience in:

  • Interbank ATM xe2x80x93 SASWITCH experience
  • Interbank POS - Debit Switch
  • Realtime Clearing
Extensive experience in and a thorough understanding of the Card Switching and Payments Processing - very advantageousA thorough understanding of BankServ Africa Rules, Service Level Agreements and Guidelines in respect of Financial Institutions and Industry participants as both Issuer and Acquiring Institutions xe2x80x93 very advantageousBack office and Reconciliation experience focusing on Interbank related Card Switching and Payment Services advantageousExperience in general balancing and reconciliation functionsExperience in bank settlement reconciliationsExperience in Dispute Management Systems will be advantageousBanking experience advantageous
