We are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager to oversee the financial functions within this bustling casino environment!
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Honours Degree preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the gaming or hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of casino operations, gaming regulations, and financial reporting requirements
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
- Excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software
- Oversee daily financial operations, including cash management, revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks
- Monitor gaming transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with senior management
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits and inspections
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and areas for improvement
- Supervise a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial management
