The incumbent will be responsible for the analysis of financial data to better understand variances and make improvements to allocation methodologies. The role will also include financial modelling to facilitate more accurate reporting and forecasting and interrogating existing procedures and processes with a view to recommending improvements.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform analysis on financial data within identified parameters.
• Review allocation methodologies to recommend improvements.
• Review annuity contracts and confirm that accounting treatment follows the contract terms.
• Review the allocation of resources between opex and cost of sales.
• Assess the accuracy of monthly reporting to group finance, including the monthly variance analysis on revenue, margins, opex and KPI metrics.
• Assist with the monthly forecasting, revenue, cost of sales, opex, depreciation and finance charges.
• Use financial modelling to streamline forecasting and reporting.
• Report findings on all work undertaken.
• Document all finance processes and procedures and recommend improvements to internal controls.

• CA(SA)
• Excellent MS excel skills
