Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Description
Duties:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with the highest accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide valuable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and enhance our financial reporting systems and processes
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all reconciliations and journal entries are accurate and timely.
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to maintain the accuracy and compliance of financial data.
- Play a key role in the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing crucial financial information and analysis.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial reporting.
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) designation is mandatory
- 2+ years post-article experience in financial reporting or related roles.
- Proficiency in Accpac, Excel, and Qlikview software.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and GAAP reporting standards.
