FINANCIAL SERVICES COPYWRITER: INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONSWe are working on an exciting, hybrid opportunity for a talented and experienced, mid-weight to senior Internal Communications Financial Services Copywriter at a dynamic integrated creative advertising agency in Cape Town. • Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and engaging copy for internal communications, including newsletters, emails, intranet articles, presentations, and reports tailored to the financial services sector.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including HR, finance, and senior management, to understand their communication needs and deliver tailored messaging.
• Strategy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of internal communication strategies that align with client's business goals and objectives.
• Brand Consistency: Ensure all internal communications are consistent with the client's brand voice and messaging guidelines.
• Content Management: Maintain an editorial calendar to manage content delivery and ensure timely dissemination of information.
• Feedback Incorporation: Collect and incorporate feedback from various internal stakeholders to continually improve communication efforts.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in financial services and internal communications.
• Measurement & Reporting: Track and analyse the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives and report on metrics to stakeholders.

RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Copywriting within financial services or a related industry.
• Financial Services internal communications experience - a must
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear and engaging content.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Content Management Systems.
• Familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements is preferred.
• Creativity: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative communication solutions.
• Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Initiative: Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Collaboration: Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to support colleagues.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous and thorough in ensuring accuracy and quality of all communications.
