Financial Statements Drafting Accountant OR Bookkeeper - Tokai, Southern Suburbs, Cape TownA well-established small accounting firm (team of 6) based in Tokai, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town, is looking for a Financial Statements Drafting Accountant OR A Bookkeeper to join their team. This firm focuses on Financial Statement Drafting, Compilations, and Reviews - no audits.Candidates must be located near the Southern Suburbs (Tokai and surrounding areas).Position Option 1: Financial Statements Drafting AccountantKey Responsibilities:

• Preparing Financial Statements, Compilations, and Reviews for a diverse client base (xc2xb1700 SME & individual profiles).
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Assisting in financial analysis and providing insights where needed.
• Collaborating closely with a small, professional team to meet client deadlines.

Requirements:

• SAIPA background (NOT SAICA).
• Completed SAIPA articles OR recently registered as a PA(SA).
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and compilations.
• Experience working in a small accounting or consulting firm (big firm experience won't be a fit).
• Must be located near the Southern Suburbs (candidates from the Northern Suburbs will not be considered).
• Ability to work independently in a small, fast-paced team.

xe2x8fxb3 Start Date: ASAP or earliest availability.Position Option 2: BookkeeperKey Responsibilities:

• Full bookkeeping function within a small firm.
• Processing transactions, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Assisting with VAT, tax submissions, and financial reporting.
• Supporting the accounting team in day-to-day financial tasks.

Requirements:

• Matric and relevant bookkeeping experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting software.
• Previous experience in a small accounting or consulting firm (big firm experience won't be a fit).
• Must be based near the Southern Suburbs (Tokai and surrounding areas).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple client accounts.
