Financial/Investment Manager (Stellenbosch)Must preferably be available immediately!Salary: R60 000 R80 000 (Market Related) per month, depending on experienceOur client, an Investment Company, are currently looking for a Financial/Investment Manager who can start Immediately or as soon as possible at their offices in Stellenbosch.This role falls within their offshore division: Commercial Property in UK, Europe & Australia; Old age care portfolio in UK & Agriculture & dairy farms in AustraliaJob Purpose:This position will lead and oversee the financial operations of the organization, providing strategic guidance and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reportingRequirements:Grade 12Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent professional accounting qualification. A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is requiredMinimum of 6 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role overseeing senior-level staff.Strong proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Advanced knowledge of accounting software and financial systems. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.In-depth understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards.Own transportDuties include, but are not limited to:Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.Prepare and oversee budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to senior management to aid in decision-making.Ensure the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, reports, and schedules in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.Supervise and mentor the Senior Accountant, providing guidance and support on complex accounting issues.Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.Implement and monitor internal controls to prevent discrepancies and safeguard assets.Identify and assess financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure accurate and timely completion of audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance financial operations.Streamline financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.Please send comprehensive CV to info@j2eplacements.co.za and quote PROPFINMANSTELL as subject when sending CV.
