We are committed to delivering exceptional service with expertise, ensuring project success and client satisfaction.Main responsibilities:xc2xb7 Fire engineering and design during all project phases according to client, national and international standardsxc2xb7 Preparation and management specifications, concept designs, schedules, estimates, progress reports, meeting agendas and minutes, procurementxc2xb7 Project managementxc2xb7 Operate in line with the digital ways of working (DWOW)xc2xb7 Ability to objectively evaluate both technically and commercially, different options based on project objectives/requirementsxc2xb7 Cost estimation of mechanical engineering scope of work, including equipment and construction costsxc2xb7 Proposals, expressions of interests and tenderingxc2xb7 Collaborate with local and international teamsxc2xb7 Contribute towards improvement of existing products, techniques and servicesxc2xb7 Mentoring and training of team members to advance to professional engineerRequirements:xc2xb7 MSC.Eng/M.Eng/B.Eng /B.Tech degree in Fire Engineeringxc2xb7 Registered or eligible to register with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng in Fire Engineeringxc2xb7 Intimate knowledge of local and international standards and codes of practicexc2xb7 Minimum 5 years relevant post graduate fire building services experience,xc2xb7 Thorough knowledge of the OHS Act (SANS and IEC codes)xc2xb7 Good communication and people management skillsxc2xb7 Ability to liaise with relevant stakeholders at all levelsxc2xb7 Ability to develop engineering documentation from first principlesxc2xb7 BIM experience using BIM authoring tools, MS Office (including Excel, Word, Access and Project) would be advantageousxc2xb7 Well acquainted with local equipment, manufacturers, suppliers and installation companiesxc2xb7 Be willing to travel abroad for variable periods depending on the particular needs at that timexc2xb7 Team playerxc2xb7 Shortlisted candidates will be required to pass general medical examinations (in line with occupation act)APPLY NOW!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:Bachelors (Required)Experience:Post graduate: 5 years (Required)License/Certification:ECSA Professional (Required)Work Location: In personApplication Deadline: 2025/02/09
