Job Description

KEY RESPOSIBILITES

• Responsible for the constant fire surveillance of the ship
• Co-operate with the Safety Officer for the maintenance and cleanliness of firefighting equipment
• Work in co-operation preparing all means of access on board (ladders, gangways, etc.) respecting all injury prevention rules related to them
• Understanding methods and procedures for the maintenance of firefighting equipment and structural devices

QUALIFICATIONS

• Responsible for the constant fire surveillance of the ship. Co-operate with the Safety Officer for the maintenance and cleanliness of firefighting equipment
• Know, understand and implement the Company Policy in respect of the ISM (International Safety management)
• Sufficient knowledge in firefighting techniques and injury prevention
• Sufficient knowledge in maintenance, techniques and seamanship
• Knowledge of International, National and Company regulations regarding safety on
• Advanced Fire Fighting Training Certification
• Physically fit and healthy
• Proven successful experience for at least 2 years in a similar position at sea or at least 4 years as a sailor on a passenger ship.
