:THE JOB AT A GLANCE:Contract Duration: 6 monthsYou will be responsible for maintaining Engineering Equipment to world class standards while providing support to the Maintenance Coordinator. You will support the team in embedding maintenance processes within the organization with the key deliverables of maintaining the Integrity of the Plant. You will maintain, repair and optimize plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost.Responsibilities:WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:Key Attributes and Competencies

• Maintain a safety with all aspects of the plant

• Engage key stakeholders to ensure that process/inputs into reporting is produced timeously to enable decision making at the daily reviews

• Ensure appropriate competencies are developed in departments through the department heads and that information provided is accurate and on time

• Develop accurate OEE reporting that is in line with the COE and Finance reporting rules

• Produce daily Material Usage Variance reports for all inputs into production while ensuring that all departments have followed the business processes accurately

• Process flows of all materials must be up to date as per MECP standards

• Ensure compliance procedures from all departments in terms of OEE and MUV

• Review of Reporting with Finance Daily and Weekly to ensure Materials and OEE is aligned to the weekly financial work plan estimate

• Develop and update Weekly Reporting in time for weekly plant routines.

• Manage the system interface to ensure all departments are compliant and publish a daily and weekly non-compliance report highlighting the gaps to plant leadership

• Work and Win together with Production and Engineering teams

Qualifications:ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:ExperienceFunction -3- 5 years' experience in production/ engineering/ materials managementTrade Certificate - Mechanical FitterAcademic - Minimum requirement is NTC3, with Grade 12 maths and science, Analytical skills, Problem solving, high numeracy skills
