Fleet Operations Coordinator - Dubanville Hills, WCFull job descriptionKey Responsibilities:Fuel consumption management and complianceEstablish efficient routes and transportation schedulesVehicle and driver tacking and monitoringVehicles scheduling, planning and client liaisingCoordinating drivers and on-site general workersEnsuring compliance with the service levels and resolving fleet breakdownsManaging vehicle licensure, registration and roadworthinessEnsuring all fleet members have proper licensure and up to date trainingMonitoring drivers to ensure adherence to schedules and proper driver practicesSourcing, hiring and training of new driversDriver inductionsProviding budget, schedule, maintenance and fleet progress reports to managementDeveloping methods to decrease cost and improve efficiencyIncident and claim management and reportingEnsure all vehicles meet required company standards and update vehicle inspection sheetResponsible to manage wash bay and vehicle cleanlinessMeet monthly targets set by managementMinimum requirements:Grade 12 / matricRelevant tertiary diploma or degree BS in Business administration, logistics, supply chain or relevant (Advantageous)3 years experience gained within logistics / transportation operations environmentMust be computer literate (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)Must be fluent in AfrikaansExperience and proficiency in standard logistics softwareStrong data entry skills and attention to detailsAble to prioritize work, delegate and meet deadlinesDedicated and hard workingAnalytical mindset and good problem- solving skillsBe willing to work long hoursValid drivers license and own vehicleJob Type: Full-timePay: From R18 000,00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Durbanville Hills, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
