Fleet Pricing / Procurement Administrator - CenturionFull job descriptionWe are looking for a dynamic person to join our team and to be an understudy of our current pricing specialist.The ideal candidate would already have some experience in the Fleet and Logistics industry, with knowledge of vehicles.A financial qualification will be advantageous.The salary will be determined with the individual selected candidate, depending on the number of years of experience, qualifications etc.The :The core focus is on acquiring government and local municipality tender business through the submission of keenly priced tenders for the procurement of vehicle fleets required by either way of a Full Maintenance Lease and Financial Lease Product or the Normal Supply and Delivery of Vehicles and Yellow Plant together with any ancillary equipment and additional Fleet Management Services specified in the tender documents.Main Duties and Main Responsibilities:Read and understand the scope, specification and requirements of the tender document and qualify the tender in terms of:xc2xb7 Size of fleetxc2xb7 Vehicle mixxc2xb7 Submission datexc2xb7 Pricing validity period requiredxc2xb7 Provide FML/Leasing/Installment Sale quotations upon request.xc2xb7 Calculate Residual Values, Maintenance Rates, Tire CPK Rates.xc2xb7 Ensure deal profitability (ROI) while minimizing risk.xc2xb7 Ensure Fleet Management Best Practice IRO product offerings.xc2xb7 Request pricing from OEMxe2x80x99s or Dealers depending on size of fleet if OEM assistance will be available or qualifies for RT57 Pricingxc2xb7 OEM Full Maintenance Plans to be included in quotations if specifiedxc2xb7 Check if pricing and vehicles required are still current or if the model is on run out and introduction of newmodels imminentxc2xb7 Set up pricing spreadsheet and populate with all relevant information in terms of contract parameters, vehicle model list and numbers required, ancillary equipment/extras, insert formulas (AFCR/RV/TERM) to calculate final pricing, including gross profit margins for Afrirentxc2xb7 Set out the Clarification Notes to Pricing once pricing completedxc2xb7 Keeping up to date with new developments in the industry (new vehicle)xc2xb7 Attending Vehicle launces with OEMsxc2xb7 Assist with Rent to Own Pricingxc2xb7 Renewal of Compliance documentsxc2xb7 Check with CFO how procurement is going to be funded (Own funding or Bank)xc2xb7 Check stock availability/alternatives with suppliersxc2xb7 s with suppliers and lead timesxc2xb7 Once vehicles available for delivery, hand over to Key Account Managerxc2xb7 Submit and explain pricing structure to Finance for monthly invoicingSkills:xc2xb7 Some Motor Industry Dealer Retail Sales/OEM Wholesale Experience (advantegeous).xc2xb7 Mathematical Proficiencyxc2xb7 Strong attention to detail and accurate financial and number calculationsxc2xb7 Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)xc2xb7 Organized and able to meet deadlines and Tender submissionsxc2xb7 Good communication skills (verbal and written)xc2xb7 Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skillsxc2xb7 The ability to work in a team & independentlyxc2xb7 Must be able to manage multiple tasks and have excellent follow up skills both internally and externallyxc2xb7 Thoroughness and reliabilityxc2xb7 Follow instructionsxc2xb7 Positive attitude and excellent attendance recordxc2xb7 Flexibility to adapt to changesQualifications:Gr.12 (Required)Diploma/Degree in Cost and Management Accounting / Actuarial Sciences or similiar would be advantageous.Minimum:Own vehicle and Driver's Licence (Advantageous)Understanding of Financial DocumentsExperience in Vehicle industry and vehicle pricingAbilities to interact with ClientsAbility to work under pressure to meet tender submission deadlines.Job Types: Full-timeAbility to commute/relocate:Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)***The salary will be discussed with the successful candidate.***Job Type: Full-timePay: R12 345 678,00 per monthAbility to commute/relocate:Midrand, Gauteng: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Diploma (Required)Experience:Pricing: 1 year (Required)Fleet / Transport Industry: 1 year (Preferred)
