Fleet Supervisor - Kempton ParkFull job descriptionA Fleet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing a companyxe2x80x99s fleet of vehicles to ensure they are maintained, operated efficiently, and comply with all relevant regulations.RequirementsDegree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related.5 + years experience in fleet management, logistics.3 + years experience as a supervisor.Must have experience in supervising more that 50 vehicles (bakkies and trucks) in different locations across South Africa.Strong leadership skillsMust have a valid drivers licenseGood communication skillsProblem solving skillsFamiliarity with relevant software and technology, as well as knowledge of safety regulations.ResponsibilitiesSupervise the daily operations and performance of the fleet.Manage fleet inventory, including vehicles, parts, and equipment.Schedule vehicle maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Monitor vehicle performance and fuel usage to optimize efficiency.Evaluate and select equipment vendors and suppliers.Develop and implement transportation strategies to reduce costs and improve operations.Keep accurate records and reports on fleet maintenance, expenses, and performance.Coordinate with other departments to support business goals and objectives.Analyze fleet performance and implement cost-saving measures.Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance, and expenses.Ensure all vehicles are properly registered and insured.Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance.Develop and implement emergency procedures for fleet-related issues.Coordinate with emergency services and provide support during vehicle breakdowns or accidents.PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED FEEDBACK IN 2 WEEKS, PLEASE CONSIDER YOUR APPLICATION UNSUCCESSFUL.Job Type: Full-timeExperience:Fleet: 5 years (Preferred)
