Job Description

The ExecuJet Aviation Group is currently seeking a suitably qualified person to fill a vacancy, based at Lanseria International Airport.






The main objective of the position is to ensure seamless operations by having well trained staff who have access to all relevant information and resources to be well informed and deliver a supreme service within Flight Operations, Fixed Base Operations.

Key responsibilities

q Ensure that the air service operates in a safe and reliable manner



q Ensure that all flight operations (including cabin operations and ground handling) in providing the air service is conducted in a safe and reliable manner



q Ensure that all personnel under his/her control have the appropriate knowledge, qualifications, skills, experience and training to perform or supervise their assigned duties



q Always ensure that all personnel under his/her control fully comply with the Management Plan



q Responsible for the execution of all activities of the Responsible Person Operations as prescribed in the organisation's applicable documentation and the applicable Civil Aviation Regulations.



q Preparing departmental budgets and report on profit-and-loss



q Pursue and develop new business opportunities



q Administration & control functions are carried out effectively (Overseeing relevant personnel, organizing shift roster and standby duties, overseeing service providers, updating pricelists and operational manuals.)


q Effective and efficient customer service to all clients and continued contact with service providers (build network opportunities, negotiate competitive agreements with suppliers)



q Manage financial responsibilities of department



q Responsible for the co-ordination of all the relevant sections to ensure that the aircraft and flight crew are ready to depart at the published scheduled time



q Ensure that flight preparation is done effectively


q Overseeing aircraft cleaning and dispatcher department


q Ensure safety & quality assurance as per the regulations and customer requirements.



q Assisting with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

Experience

q 3 Years experience in senior operational position



q On the job experience with subordinate job functions (permits, ground handling, fuel)



q Experience in interaction with dignitaries and VIP's



q 4 Years dispatching experience



q 2 Years administration related experience in the Aviation industry



q 3 previous operational & dispatch experience

Qualifications

q Matric/Grade 12


q Relevant qualification relating to FBO/VIP Lounge



q Relevant managerial qualification



q Pilot License



q Flight Dispatch Course/License/FOO



q Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
