• Matric certificate
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in retail management, preferably in FMCG
• Proven all-rounder experience across various departments
• Knowledge of retail operations
• Computer literate

Duties and responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and motivate staff across all departments to ensure a high level of service and productivity
• Ensure that all customers receive outstanding service and assistance, addressing any concerns or issues promptly
• Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and visual merchandising
• Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for growth and implement strategies to achieve sales targets
• Collaborate with department managers to ensure efficient operations, high standards of cleanliness, and optimal product availability
• Create staff schedules to meet business needs while ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies and procedures
• Address operational challenges and customer complaints with effective solutions and escalate issues as necessary
• Manage stock levels and conduct regular audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure product quality
• Prepare and present reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and team productivity to upper management

Remuneration:R 12 000 - R 14 000 Basic per monthIMPORTANT:
