Food Truck Chef - Pizza, Coffee & Sandwiches

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate

Food Truck Chef

to lead operations on our mobile kitchen, specializing in

artisan pizza, gourmet sandwiches, and handcrafted coffee

. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, small-space environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook

Neapolitan-style pizzas

, gourmet sandwiches, and high-quality coffee beverages. Operate and maintain food truck equipment, including pizza ovens, espresso machines, and grills. Ensure

food safety and sanitation standards

are met at all times. Take customer orders, handle transactions, and provide a friendly dining experience. Monitor inventory, manage ingredient stock levels, and coordinate restocking as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck. Adapt and adjust recipes or menu items based on seasonality and customer feedback. Assist in marketing efforts, such as engaging with customers, taking social media photos, and promoting special offers. Drive the food truck to various locations and ensure proper setup and breakdown at events.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a

pizza chef, sandwich maker, or barista

(food truck experience is a plus). Ability to work in a

small, high-pressure kitchen environment

. Strong knowledge of

dough preparation, sandwich assembly, and coffee brewing techniques

. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one). Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions. Valid driver's license with a clean record (preferred).
