Experience Experience RequiredIntroductionA leading FMCG retailer based in Bloemfontein has an exciting opportunity within their Foods Department for a Foods Department Manager.The primary purpose of this role is to attract and grow the customer base through both customer-facing and supportive functions, ultimately driving market share, turnover, and profitability. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring a world-class shopping experience, minimizing risk, and maximizing profitability within the store.Description

• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Recruit, select, manage and develop people to meet competence requirements
• Participate in team to ensure achievement of department and store goals
• Manage implementation and integration of new initiatives to achieve project goals
• Participate in general store operational duties
• Supervise and coach staff to meet competence requirements

Education Profile

• Grade 12
• Retail and or Business Management Diploma would be advantages
• 2-5 years role experience as a Foods Department Manager in Retail
• Retail experience in management
• Team Management
• Leadership and Management experience would be advantageous
• Ability to work shifts that meet operational requirements
