You will analyze financial records, identify irregularities, and provide expert reports for legal proceedings. As a Forensic Accountant you will play a critical role in financial crime investigations, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial reporting.xc3x82What youxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2ll do:

  • Investigating the financial data of a company suspected of fraudulent activity.
  • Compiling and analysing evidence of illegal activity.
  • Interpreting and evaluating financial information.
  • Conducting interviews with personnel to uncover and gather evidence.
  • Developing a criminal hypothesis from the information.
  • Presenting the investigative findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Recommending actionable steps to remedy and prevent future occurrences of fraud.
  • Preparing documentation and evidence for presentation in court.
  • Presenting evidence of financial irregularities to court members clearly and professionally.
  • Explaining the findings of the research in understandable terms and disclosing investigative methods and procedures.
Your expertise:
  • Have at least 5 Forensic accounting industry. Computer literate, excellent report
writing skills. * Strong understanding of anti-money laundering regulations.
  • Ability to work independently without the need for supervision.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Articulate report-writing skills.
Qualifications:
  • An Honours degree in Forensic Accounting.
  • A Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and/or Chartered Accountant (
) qualification is preferred and will be an
advantage. * A pass in the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) exam may be advantageous.Other information applicable to the opportunity:
  • Permanent Position
  • Location: Employee will be expected to work remotely. Employee will be required to travel on a weekly basis and work from guest houses while in a
province. Tools of trade will be supplied * Physical demands: Travel
  • Travel: Travel will be required. Own roadworthy vehicle
