APL Cartons CT (Pty) Ltd, situated in Epping, has a beneficial career opportunity in the Despatch department for Forklift Driver (1), reporting directly to the Shift Leader Despatch.Responsible for the optimal utilization of a forklift to handle, transport, scan, stack, and load finished goods in a timely manner, ensuring that the quantity correlates with the F-codes thereby ensuring that the fright is loaded correctly. This is done to ensure that products are transported and loaded in a timely manner, adhering to all standards and targets set to ensure plant efficiency.The ideal candidate has:Grade 12 with the ability to read and write EnglishValid Forklift Drivers LicenseHave 6 months experience in supply chain/ Despatch environmentHave literacy and numerical skillsBe knowledgeable of all health and safety rules and practices relevant to the job.Be able to work shifts and overtime, including week ends when requiredApplications, together with detailed CV, accompanied by supporting documents and details of contactable references, should be forwarded to Human Resources Department, or e-mailed to lflorence@apl.co.za and bbeja@apl.co.zaClosing Date: 23 October 2024
