Forklift Operator
Job Description
Job Summary Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Requirements: Must have a Matric (Grade 12) qualification. A valid Reach Truck/Forklift License is required. Minimum of 2 years experience operating a forklift in a warehouse setting. Pre- and post-operation inspections on equipment are essential. Strong attention to detail and adherence to warehouse safety procedures are necessary. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting. Key Responsibilities: Move, relocate, stack, and count merchandise safely using forklift equipment. Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure forklifts are in good working condition. Pick and prepare orders for shipment accurately, ensuring correct items and quantities. Store incoming merchandise in designated warehouse locations while optimizing space utilization.
