Disa Primary School, in partnership with Common Good in the Collaboration Network, is seeking a passionate Foundation Phase Educator. The successful candidate will create an engaging and nurturing learning environment for students in Grades 1-3, helping them develop essential skills in Literacy, Numeracy, and Life Skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lessons across the Foundation Phase curriculum
Plan differentiated lessons to meet diverse learner needs
Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Monitor and assess student progress
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff
Engage in professional development and contribute to school events
Use blended learning techniques
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent in Foundation Phase Education
SACE registration
Experience in teaching Foundation Phase learners
Strong knowledge of CAPS curriculum
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
Police clearance certificate required

Passionate about working with young children and fostering a love of learning
Creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning
Patient, empathetic, and understanding towards students' diverse needs
Ability to incorporate educational technology into the classroom
Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
