Role PurposeAs Consult expands its national short-term insurance franchise network and enhances its franchise value proposition, we are seeking a Franchise Enablement Manager to lead the execution of our enablement strategy across the franchise network.The successful candidate will oversee the establishment of a dedicated Enablement Unit, focused on developing and implementing operational best practices, mitigating franchise risk, and driving utilisation of Consults franchise value proposition. A key success factor will be the effective deployment and adoption of Consults technology ecosystem, ensuring operational consistency, efficiency, and long-term franchise success.You will have the opportunity to build and lead a team of Enablement Consultants, who will proactively embed, support, and monitor franchise engagement with the value proposition.Therefore, we require a leader with middle-management experience and a strong operational mindset, capable of fostering high-performance franchise operations while ensuring alignment with Consults short-term insurance strategic objectives.
RequirementsQualifications

  • Business related qualification e.g. business management, operations management, risk management or related field
  • RE1 and RE5 essential
  • Short-term insurance qualification essential
Experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in enablement, risk management, or operations within a franchise or multi-unit business environment, with a specific focus on short-term insurance operations.
  • Proven experience in rolling out technology platforms and driving adoption across decentralised teams.
  • Proven experience in establishing operational best practices that drive operational efficiency
  • Strong knowledge of Short-term insurance code of conduct and other relevant insurance regulatory requirements and acts.
  • Experience managing a team and delivering measurable outcomes across diverse stakeholders.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align enablement and risk initiatives with organisational objectives.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify risks, interpret performance metrics, and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate effectively with franchisees and internal teams.
  • Project management expertise to oversee multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Proficiency in using enablement and risk management tools, as well as technology platforms
  • Understanding of Insuretech environment

Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe successful incumbents key areas of performance include: * Value proposition Enhancement & Delivery:
  • By partnering with franchises in understanding their strategic intentions, operational needs and risks, continually review and enhance Consults franchise value proposition to enable sustainable growth.
  • Ensure the effective delivery and utilisation of Consults franchise value proposition by aligning resources, tools, and support.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for franchise enablement, ensuring seamless operational support and guidance.
  • Best Practices Development & Implementation:
  • Develop, document, and embed best practices across the franchise network to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor franchise adherence to operational standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures where necessary.
  • Collaborate with franchisees to identify and share proven best practices that enhance performance and growth.
  • Risk Management
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate operational and advice risks within the franchise network to ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and implement frameworks to monitor and manage risk at both individual franchise and network-wide levels.
  • Provide guidance and training to franchises on risk-related policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and non-compliance, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Franchise vesting & Support:
  • Develop a franchise onboarding framework that ensures seamless technology integration, alignment with Consult best practices and provides ongoing support during the onboarding phase.
  • Provide ongoing operational training on best practices and support on the effective use of Consults technology ecosystem
  • Conduct regular engagement sessions to track franchise progress throughout onboarding phase
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new franchisees, ensuring a smooth transition and full integration of business processes.
  • Training & Capability Development:
  • Design and deliver comprehensive training programs that equip franchisees and their teams with the necessary knowledge and skills to operate effectively.
  • Ensure training materials are aligned with Consults value proposition and support the adoption of operational best practices.
  • Continuously assess training effectiveness, refining content and delivery methods to optimise learning outcomes
  • Performance Monitoring & Compliance
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate utilisation of Consults value proposition.
  • Provide senior leadership with regular insights and reports on franchise success, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct operational audits to ensure compliance with established guidelines and recommend enhancements where necessary.
