Time Type: Full TimeMain purpose of roleTo provide an export airfreight service to our clients within the air export team, keeping all customer up to date on the movement of their cargo always. End to end managing of air export shipments.Duties and requirementsAbility to manage clients, meet with them, discuss challenges on shipments and handle any client correspondence both.telephonically, on email and in person.Liaising and pro-actively communicating with clients throughout the process.Ability to escalate where required to the relevant parties, and maintaining a good working relationship with all various teams anddepartments.Minimum 7-year air exports experience in the industry;xefx82xb7 Pro-actively communicating and resolving queries or delays for clients.xefx82xb7 Managing clients KPIs / performance monthly and productivity of own desk.xefx82xb7 Making special arrangements / involving the right level of individual to support on critical shipments.xefx82xb7 Support in after hour monitoring and tracking and tracing with carriers, arranging specials shipments on weekends or facilitating communication and feedback on weekends.xefx82xb7 Resolving client and routine queries professionally and timorously.xefx82xb7 Managing costs effectively and carefully.xefx82xb7 Doing all export invoicing and managing rates etc.xefx82xb7 Involvement with Implementation of new accounts that fall under your specifications area of work.xefx82xb7 Tracking shipments from collection to warehouse, delivery to carriers, departures, arrival, and deliveries indestination countries where applicable.xefx82xb7 Overtime when applicablexefx82xb7 End to end managing of export shipments including invoicing charges.xefx82xb7 Manage Negative WIPS/ open accruals / open negative accruals.xefx82xb7 Excellent administrative skillsxefx82xb7 Admin work will be applicable.xefx82xb7 Able to work without constant supervision.xefx82xb7 Able to work under pressure.ElectivesOwn reliable transportAbility to work late where required and weekend work is scheduled on a roster.Ability to walk down several stairsAbility to travel if required.Minimum requirementsMinimum of 7 years experience in Airfreight ExportsMinimum of 7 years experience in Freight ForwardingDisclaimer: Due to the high volume of applications received, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
