Our client in the Beauty and Spa industry is currently looking for a Front Desk Coordinator, in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
Manage and monitor the attendance and performance of the team and where necessary, seek guidance from Head Office for assistance where one may feel challenged by any employee not working within the scope of their job profile.
Training and Development of staff including: Product training on knowledge and presentation during down time.
Ensuring stock is always managed correctly avoiding out of stock situations.
Stock take must be conducted once a week and at month end - report findings to Head Office.
Conduct random audits to check that the required stock is in Store.
Prepare monthly staff Rosters and forward to Head Office at beginning of each month.
Ensuring the promotions - initiated by Head Office is functional and motivated amongst staff to ensure effective sales.
Ensure proper administration and documentation which includes accounts and orders.
Prepare end of day reports and submit to Head Office- ensuring the team on duty are able to perform the same.
Store maintenance and security - request assistance when necessary.
Manage the daily housekeeping costs effectively in that - seek approval from Head Office when requiring grocery items and provide expense slips to Head Office.
Ensure that the cash is managed within the protocols to ensure its safety.
Conduct regular staff meetings and provide feedback to Head Office. Either one on one or where possible with the team.
Ensure staff are appropriately dressed, hair, nails and makeup are professional in appearance, and that the approved corporate colour and styling is in place.
Delegated tasks as and when instructed by Head Office.
Requirements:
Diploma in Administration or equivalent (Must be NQF level 6 and above)
