Your efforts will leave lasting positive impressions on the guests, enhancing the reputation of our client's esteemed establishment.DescriptionThe Front Desk Receptionist will represent the Hotel to guests from the moment they arrive until their departure. This role involves determining reservation statuses, assisting with check-ins and check-outs, managing guest inquiries, and maintaining accurate records of guest bookings and billings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for ensuring guests experience maximum comfort and satisfaction during their stay, thereby upholding the hotel's image and standards of excellence.Main Duties:

  • Greet and welcome guests warmly, manage inquiries, and handle phone calls.
  • Inform guests of services and accommodation rates, make and cancel reservations.
  • Build rapport with guests, address complaints courteously, and maintain the hotel's image.
  • Keep clear records of guest bookings and billings for accountability.
  • Maintain front desk orderliness and cleanliness.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to ensure guest comfort.
  • Register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests.
  • Adhere to credit, check-cashing, and cash handling policies.
  • Understand room status, locations, types, and rates.
  • Use suggestive selling techniques to promote hotel services.
  • Coordinate room status updates with housekeeping.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and maintain guest room key storage.
  • Process guest check-outs and perform cashier-related functions.
  • Use proper telephone etiquette and mail/package handling procedures.
  • Inform guests of messages, mail, room safes, mini-bars, and parking passes.
  • Direct porters to escort guests and manage their luggage.
  • Stay updated on daily hotel activities and meetings.
  • Attend department meetings and report unusual occurrences.
  • Know safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies.
  • Maintain front desk cleanliness and flexibility to work different shifts as needed.

Minimum Requirements
