Job Description


My client, an well known Restaurant based between Somerset and Stellenbosch, is seeking to employ a dynamic and energetic Front of House Manager. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and committed to providing outstanding customer serviceRequirements:

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position is essential
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team and ensure smooth operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurants schedule
  • Proficiency in handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints in a professional manner
  • Ability to collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to deliver exceptional service
Duties will include but not limited to:
  • Create rosters for staff shifts
  • Allocating duties to waitrons and cleaners
  • Hold motivational staff briefings
  • Manning the floor, ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Staff cash ups
  • Staff trainings
  • Ensuring the restaurant is kept tidy at all times
  • Front of House stock take
  • Opening and closing of restaurant
