Sandton, On-siteQualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Project management or Agile certification is advantageous.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in development including 3 years leading a team and management experience in a development team.
  • Proven experience in full-stack development within the .NET framework with strong coding skills and a solid understanding of software architecture.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a development team.
KPAs:
  • Spearhead the conceptualisation, creation, and upkeep of software solutions within the .NET framework.
  • Actively engage in coding tasks while offering technical insights to the team.
  • Uphold standards of excellence by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Lead and oversee a development team, fostering an environment of collaboration and innovation.
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members, nurturing their professional growth and skill enhancement.
  • Coordinate and prioritise development endeavours to ensure timely project completion.
  • Take charge of software releases, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define release timelines.
  • Ensure that software releases align with business objectives and meet stringent quality benchmarks.
  • Analyse business needs and collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for software enhancements.
  • Evaluate and implement off-the-shelf solutions to tackle business challenges effectively.
  • Possess a robust technical background in full-stack development, with proficiency spanning front-end to back-end technologies.
  • Collaborate with the team to conduct code reviews, assess technical feasibility, and advocate for best practices.
  • Acknowledge the significance of data within the organisation and collaborate with data professionals to harness its potential.
  • Ensure adherence to data security protocols, maintaining integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, code, and development procedures.
  • Communicate proficiently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, fostering transparency and understanding.
  • Provide regular updates on project advancements and milestones.
