The ideal candidate must have experience with open-source technologies, experience developing and working with web services, and be proficient in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript and Node.js.Requirements:

• 7+ years application development experience
• Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery and Node.js
• Knowledge of relational databases, schema design and SQL
• Integration experience with 3rd party applications & API''s
• Solid understanding of data structures, and data modeling
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn new technologies and communicate effectively across all levels within the company
• Experience with PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter and Laravel)
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (Ember, React, AngularJS)
• Live Script, Coco, CoffeeScript is a big plus
• Basic knowledge of Unix and various Linux distributions
• Experience developing RESTful web services and APIs

Reference Number for this position is GZ40312 which is a permanent position based on the West Rand offering a cost to company salary of R850K per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
