FUNDRAISING CONSULTANTWESTERN CAPE FUNDRAISING OFFICEThis position will suit a mature responsible person who is prepared to work according to the Girls and Boys Town South Africa values.This position carries a competitive basic salary plus incentives. It is based at the Western Cape Regional Fundraising Office, Pinelands, Cape TownDuties of the Fundraising Consultant

• Attract new sponsorships and donations against set targets
• Research and identify potential funders and funding opportunities
• Initiate and build relationships (face to face. networking, events)
• Produce a targeted number of fundraising proposals per month
• Service a donor portfolio
• Meet donor requirements
• Liaise with Projects to identify needs and develop proposals
• Manage information and record the profile and fundraising activity of donors on the database
• Raise funds as per targets agreed upon

Experience Required

• Previous selling or Fundraising experience
• Good writing and verbal communication skills
• At least 5 years work experience in Sales and Fundraising
• A valid driver's license
• Computer literate
