Job Title: Game Lodge Couple - Game Farm Manager (Male) & Hospitality/Chef (Female)

Location: Potgietersrus

Overview: Our prestigious game lodge is seeking a dynamic and experienced couple to join our team. This unique opportunity offers a perfect blend of responsibilities, with the male candidate focusing on game farm management and holding a Professional Hunter (PH) license, while the female candidate will be responsible for hospitality and chef duties. This position provides a chance to work in a stunning natural environment and contribute to the overall guest experience at our exclusive game lodge.

Responsibilities:

Game Farm Manager (Male): * Oversee and manage all aspects of the game farm, ensuring the well-being of wildlife and maintaining a healthy ecological balance.

• Utilize knowledge and experience in game farming to implement effective conservation and sustainable practices.
• Conduct regular game counts, and habitat assessments, and contribute to the development of wildlife management plans.
• Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of game farm infrastructure, including fences, water sources, and roads.
• Interact with guests, providing insightful information about the local flora and fauna.
• Hold a valid Professional Hunter (PH) license and assist with guided hunts if required.

Hospitality/Chef (Female): * Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a warm and hospitable atmosphere throughout their stay.

• Manage the lodge's hospitality operations, including reservations, check-ins, and guest services.
• Plan, prepare, and serve delicious meals that showcase local and international cuisine, taking into account dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in guest accommodations, dining areas, and communal spaces.
• Coordinate special events, celebrations, and activities for guests.
• Source and manage supplies, including food, beverages, and amenities.
• Collaborate with the game farm manager to create a seamless and integrated guest experience.

Requirements:

Game Farm Manager (Male): * Proven experience in game farm management

• A Professional Hunter (PH) license
• Knowledge of wildlife conservation and ecological principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work outdoors and handle physical aspects of the job

Hospitality/Chef (Female): * Experience in hospitality management and culinary arts.

• Proficiency in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational skills to manage reservations, events, and daily operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Certification in culinary arts or hospitality management is a plus.
