Job Description


We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to join our team as a General Assistant. This role will involve providing support across various departments within the organization, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive multitasker with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with a variety of administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, filing documents, and scheduling appointments.
  • Office Management: Maintain office supplies inventory, place orders for new supplies as needed, and ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the workspace.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input data into spreadsheets, databases, and other systems, ensuring completeness and correctness of information.
  • Assistance to Department Heads: Provide assistance to department heads with various tasks including preparing reports, organizing meetings, and conducting research.
  • Customer Service: Respond to enquiries from clients, customers, and other stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance and information as required.
  • Support for Events and Meetings: Assist in the planning and coordination of company events, meetings, and conferences, including arranging venues, catering, and logistics.
  • Errands and Deliveries: Run errands outside the office such as banking tasks, picking up supplies, and delivering documents or packages as necessary.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Support special projects or initiatives as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in handling diverse tasks.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or assistant role preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to take on new challenges and learn new skills.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required for errands and deliveries.
