Introduction:We are looking for an experienced General Clerk to join our fast-paced retail environment, where every day is unique and interesting. The primary focus of the role is to manage all areas of operations which include staff management (when the Branch Manager is not available), ensure customer satisfaction and company profitability.Purpose:To effectively control and administer stock, cash and compliance and conduct sales within the Business Unit.Key duties:1. Manage and control stock in order to maintain Company assets
2. Action cash and credit processes/administration in line with policy
3. Perform sales activities in order to generate sales
4. Deal with customers in a customer centric manner
5. Effective self-management and teamwork
6. Relief Branch Manger (when BM is not available/annual leave etc.)Requirements:1. Matric with 1-2 years' experience in retail
2. Store Administration
3. Merchandising standards
4. Complaints management
5. Telephone etiquette
6. Selling skills
7. Risk management
9. Business acumen
9. MS Office Proficiency
10 Relevant legislation (NCA, CPA, OHASA)
11. Good written and verbal communication skills
