Job Description
Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a skilled General Engineering Superintendent (GES) to join their mining team in Gauteng. As a General Engineering Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all engineering activities within the mining operation.Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all engineering activities within the mining operation
- Implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operational efficiency
- Monitor compliance with safety regulations and implement risk mitigation measures
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Manage a team of engineering professionals and provide guidance and support
- Grade 12
- Degree/National Diploma in Engineering (Electrical).
- Valid Trade Test Certificate (Electrical)
- 5 years' experience in the mining industry whereas 3 years' must be in a Foreman position.
- Extensive Coal experience
- Extensive DMS Plant, and Mobile Machinery experience.
- Salary: Negotiable
