SUMMARY:
This position requires someone with strong leadership abilities, a hands-on approach, and a keen ability to manage various departments, including Reservations, Reception, Grounds, and Housekeeping.Key requirements for the role include:

  • Excellent personality, especially in guest-facing roles, with a passion for hosting, organizing, and providing outstanding service
  • Strong team leader with the ability to effectively manage staff
  • Experience in high-end hotel management, preferably at a 5-star level
  • Must be comfortable working independently and in a hands-on capacity
xc3xa2xc2x9c Event Planning & Execution:
  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of all hotel events.
  • Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and deliver personalized experiences.
  • Work with internal teams (banqueting, F&B, housekeeping, and concierge) to ensure flawless event execution.
xc3xa2xc2x9c Sales & Revenue Growth:
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive event bookings and maximize revenue.
  • Develop pricing strategies, event packages, and promotional offers to attract high-end clientele.
  • Monitor event-related financial performance, budgets, and cost controls.
xc3xa2xc2x9c Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary contact for VIP guests and high-profile clients.
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and event organizers.
  • Handle any event-related complaints or last-minute requests with professionalism.
xc3xa2xc2x9c Staff Leadership & Training:
  • Lead, train, and motivate the events and banqueting teams to maintain 5-star service standards.
  • Schedule and allocate staff for events, ensuring efficiency and optimal guest service.
  • Conduct performance reviews and implement continuous improvement strategies.
xc3xa2xc2x9c Quality & Standards Compliance:
  • Ensure all events uphold the hotel's luxury service standards.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations for large-scale gatherings.
  • Oversee event setup, dxc3xa9cor, and AV requirements to match high-end expectations.
xc3xa2xc2x9c Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, including florists, decorators, and AV technicians.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure all external services align with the hotel's brand standards.
xc3xa2xc2x9c Crisis & Risk Management:
  • Handle unexpected challenges, such as weather disruptions, last-minute cancellations, or VIP requests.
  • Ensure contingency plans are in place for emergency situations.
POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience:
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x93xc2x8c Education:
  • Degree or diploma in
Management, Event Management, or Business Administration. xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x93xc2x8c Experience:
  • 5+ years in a senior event management role within a 5-star hotel or luxury event venue.
  • Proven track record of handling high-profile events, corporate functions, and VIP clients.

  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management.
