Providing sound leadership and management to all farm operational activities ensuring quality product output, optimising opportunities and maximising profitability.

KEY RESULT AREAS:
Manages and oversees daily planned activities on the farm including liaison regarding schedules and managing logistics.
Manages efficiencies and productivity of the farm, driving the farm targets and ensure annual budgets are achieved.
Ensures high quality and required standards are adhered to at all times.
Ensures communication of housekeeping standards and ensures that appropriate actions are implemented where non-compliance occurs.
Ensures that all procedures relating to legislative compliance are followed to ensure safety of people, product and assets on the premises.
Preparation of compliance audit data and reports are in place.
Facilitate pre-audits and ensure corrective actions relating to audits are implemented.
Maintain accurate data and records, compile and verification of compliance documentation for the farm.
Ensure timely and professional engagement (written and verbally) with staff at all levels.
Manage the labour relations of staff and implement and document disciplinary procedures where required.
Measure performance of employees and employee labour relation processes.
Provide quarterly reports to the board.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Matric
Tertiary Qualification in Management and Agriculture (advantageous)
Proficient knowledge of Global Gap and Siza (essential)
Understanding of PPECB, SHERQ processes, Inspection companies and other industry regulatory bodies (advantageous)
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Inventory Systems
