Analyse every department to identify areas of improvement for increasing productivity.
Mentor the licensing team in licensing best practices.
Manage licensing and distribution initiatives.
Provide guidance on licensing negotiations.
Employ strategies that safeguard, correct and UpToDate Membership and works information.
Ensure membership information and works are integrated into SUISA and CisNet resulting in creation of IPI and ISWC codes
Provide strategies to increase frequency, accuracy and quantity of royalty distributions
Implement, monitor and evaluate improvements relating to data processing and member statements by deploying new technologies and streamlining processes.
Provide fit for purpose reports to assist the CEO and the Board in their decision-making processes
Assist in the formulation and implementation of the operational budget
Managing the Organizations operational policies and procedures
Create and manage the inventory of current operational policies and practices in line ith the company culture and vision
Recommend workable changes in line with the relevant legislations and best practice.
Make sure the company reports an unqualified audit.
Leadership and staff and coordination
In agreement with the Chief Executive Officer, create a succession plan and implement human capital development
strategies and training where necessary.
Provide guidance to operational staff on a continuous basis.
Management of organizational performance against strategic objectives.
Respond to staff requirements for assistance in the shortest possible time. Reduce staff reliance on you by delegating and upskilling them in their area of operation.
create consensus, resolve disputes, bring people together, and build collaboration between teams
Governance
Prepare for the AGM of members in accordance with the MOI
Make sure company adheres to all statutory requirements and complies to all legislation
Stakeholder Management Employment of strategies that maximise stakeholder satisfaction:
Members (Publishers and composers)
Government (CIPC, DTI and DAC, DOC and other governmental departments)
Bilateral agreements with other societies.

Minimum Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge:
Relevant Bachelor's degree.
LLB/LLM with a specialisation in copyright will be an added advantage
5 to 10 years managerial experience in Music Publishing, collective management of copyright and related rights, operations or business development.
Demonstrated skill in project management and time management.
Understanding of music business processes, departments and goals
Excellent communication skills
Expectional client relations management and people management skills
Demonstrated leadership ability
Solution orientated, and demonstrates a knack for decision-making to efficiently face challenges
Expertise in project management, self-management, and other management tools.
