Experience:
  • At least 5 years in a food service, warehouse & logistics, or retail environment.
  • Minimum 5 years in a management position, whether as a GM or Sales Manager with a solid operational focus.
  • Proven proficiency in Excel and relevant business software.
  • Background in the food and wholesale industries; experience in packaging is a plus.

  • Oversee the smooth operation of the business, ensuring efficient task execution and adherence to company procedures.
  • Manage a team of 60, including 5 sales reps, ensuring the warehouse runs seamlessly from receipt to dispatch.
  • Lead stock control processes, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly stocktakes, while minimizing shrinkage.
Financial Oversight
  • Meet and exceed financial budgets, ensuring competitive pricing and Gross Profit targets.
  • Manage debtors, creditors, and bank reviews with accuracy.
  • Analyze financial reports, address variances, and ensure costs stay within budget.
Growth & Customer Focus
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships while pursuing new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly addressing queries and maintaining operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with audits and company evaluations.
Team Building & Development
  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of 60, overseeing performance, attendance, and development.
  • Recruit top talent, provide training, and enforce HR policies with empathy and professionalism.
  • Guide your 5-person sales team to exceed targets, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure the workplace remains safe, clean, and compliant with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Oversee emergency procedures and health standards for staff.
Ad-Hoc Responsibilities
  • Tackle any unforeseen challenges, coordinate across teams for timely delivery, and maintain exceptional quality standards.
