Job Summary Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the feed mill, including production scheduling, maintenance, and quality control.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Implement efficient production methods to maximize output and minimize costs.
Team Leadership:
Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, operators, and support staff.
Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Provide training, development, and performance management for employees.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Monitor production costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure profitability and efficiency targets are met.
Quality Assurance:
Maintain high standards of feed quality and consistency.
Implement and maintain quality assurance programs and procedures.
Address any quality issues promptly and effectively.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to meet customer demands and specifications.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to feed products and services.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing feed production and safety.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. (Advanced degree preferred)Network FinanceRecruiter
