Job Description
Job Summary The General Worker will perform various manual tasks, including maintenance, cleaning, and supporting other departments as needed. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities within the company. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the transportation of materials and equipment across the site or workplace. Perform general cleaning duties to maintain a safe, tidy, and organized working environment. Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment or machinery as required. Perform basic maintenance and repairs as directed. Load and unload deliveries and stock items in the correct locations. Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with other ad hoc tasks or projects as required by the team or supervisor. Maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and supervisors. Grade 12 / Matric Desired Experience & Qualification Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential. Ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects. Basic knowledge of health and safety standards. Good communication skills. Reliability and a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
