A major online sports, television and entertainment business with over 1.5 million customers, is looking for a German/Dutch Email Marketing Assistant to join their team in Johannesburg, South Africa. The company operates across 18 different countries (Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece) each with its own dedicated country team.You will be joining the customer Loyalty Department but the German/Dutch Email Marketing Assistant is responsible for the deployment, the operational logic and the quality of all email communications across the company.The German/Dutch Email Marketing Assistant job duties will include:

• Assisting in developing client loyalty programmes
• Deliver new email campaigns using Campaign Commander software
• Create and then develop client loyalty programmes for bulk emailing to online clients
• Develop interesting and relevant promotional projects and investigate new ideas that will develop and enhance the service provided to new clients, as well as to existing customers
• Keep in touch with competitor activity at all times in order to stay ahead of the competition
• Be the first contact point on email technical queries to internal teams
• Collate and analyze email results data in daily, weekly and monthly reports
• Train new marketing staff on email campaigns, how to use the software, what has worked before etc

Job requirements for the German/Dutch Marketing Assistant include:

• Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Knowledge of HTML required - SQL and PhotoShop being a definitive plus.
• Have fluent English and German or Dutch - written and spoken
• Min 2 years email marketing experience (ideally around loyalty programmes)
