Job Summary THE MAIN PURPOSE FOR THE ROLE : The Head of Group Functions Human Resources provides leadership, support and strong infrastructure for the global functions that support our clients organization. This role both leads a team of HR Business Partners and works directly with the senior-most leaders. Working strategically to define workforce plans as well as implement strategic people programs and processes including talent management, Diversity & Inclusion, mobility and workforce deployment strategies, this role is critical to the smooth operations of our clients central functions. The individual in this role should be excited about making a meaningful impact on our clients worlds greatest sustainability challenges through ensuring that their people are their highest priority. At the same time, this person should understand the global people landscape and be able to lead multiple people functions within multiple client groups to make an oversized impact during an exciting moment in our clients history. KEY ACCOUNTABILITY AREAS: Work with senior leadership clients to create long and short term people strategies and operational plans Lead a team of Human Resources Business Partners to assist in their development and ensure client satisfaction with the delivery of HR work Help functional leaders to create professional communities and career paths for functional staff globally, and to deliver the transformational objectives of their functions as they drive both greater impact and efficiency in functional operations Partner with HR Senior Leadership Team in order to ensure strategic and operational alignment Take leadership role in global area of personal passion Create and maintain budget for global people functional work Analyze marketplace trends, understand and bring leading practices and innovations to the team Inspire and engage team even remotely Strongly champion Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging Work closely with Centers of Excellence to bring new thinking to client groups around talent management, learning, career progression, total rewards. Lead performance and talent processes; take a leading role in championing talent and employee relations as needed. Partner closely with ERMs legal team, Regional People Teams, Total Rewards, COE leaders, People Operations Represent ERM in external for a and create proactive communications with internal clients. Participate as active member of People Senior Leadership Team. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS: Advanced degree in related field or PHR/SPHR desirable 7-10 years of work experience in Human Resources leadership Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal. Global work experience including experience operating in a matrix environment. Knowledge of Workday HRIS desirable Strong capability in employee relations across multiple geographies Strong skills at managing diverse geographic teams.
