The Senior Global Manager, Rev Marketing is responsible for managing all marketing operations of the organization including development, planning, and execution of various marketing programs and advertising initiatives in support of RetailNext's growth goals and reputation. The Senior Global Manager, Rev Marketing interprets business objectives and develops successful marketing campaigns from idea to execution. They also ensure that the organization's message is clearly defined and distributed across all channels and targeted audiences, as well as the coordination of the organization's marketing budget.
Responsibilities:
Lead development of marketing strategy by working closely with clients, managers, creatives, content providers, and partners to create effective plans focused on growing the audience for our products and services
Manage conception, development, and implementation of marketing plans and strategy, product concepts, and promotional programs to drive customer interest and sales
Liaison with various areas of the organization to ensure that the objectives and efforts of the marketing department are aligned with the organization's goals
Drive the organization's brand strategy, including assistance with possibly redefining and reimagining the organization's current brand strategy to ensure that it is properly aligned with the organization's strategic plan
Administer the organization's digital marketing program, including social media, internal website and email campaigns to ensure brand consistency
Create copy, source copy, and/or edit copy from other areas of the organization for marketing pieces, articles, and communications
Manage marketing distribution channels including website, email, social media, and print
Manage online reputation for the agency and individual locations
Maximize website performance, track keyword rankings, and implement SEO strategies
Utilize marketing, communication, and tech stack to reach marketing goals
Set and achieve strategic goals related to social media metrics, advertising, and marketing campaign initiatives
Understand and guide efforts in graphic design as well as website creation and maintenance
Grow and develop an in-house marketing team
Build and manage a network of reliable external agencies and marketing professionals to supply marketing services
Conduct market research and stay abreast of competitor positioning
Manage co-operative marketing programs with partners
Support Sales in new business development initiatives
Attend conventions, conferences, and trade shows, preparing engaging displays and collateral as needed, and provide post-event reports and analysis
Skills:
Ability to autonomously create campaigns and execute strategic marketing goals
Ability to strongly communicate and lead a large team
Ability to drive several objectives at once ensuring success for each team
Exceptional ability planning and managing budgets
Knowledge:
Deep understanding of current marketing trends, techniques, and platforms
Deep understanding of digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Deep understanding of the RetailNext suite of products and services
Understanding and ability to track marketing budget
Talents:
Successful track record in senior marketing role and campaign creation
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Experience in digital and print marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
Proven ability to plan and manage budgets
Exceptional knowledge of current marketing techniques and platforms
