Requirements
Matric
No less than 1 year Debt Collection Experience
Valid Drivers License
Own reliable transport
Clear ITC record
Availability to start immediately
Must be registered with the Debt Collectors Council or immediate registration at own cost.
Must be based in Johannesburg
Ideal for individuals that understand that their effectiveness and ability to sign arrangements with debtors determines their success, and it is not the Company that drives their income, they are masters of their own monthly income. Effective communication is crucial, with excellent negotiation skills and ability to effectively trace and liaise with debtors and conclude payment arrangements.
Brief
Tracing of absconded or defaulting debtors.
Face to face debtor interaction is required majority of the time, as the successful candidates need to visit debtors, discuss the handover of accounts, negotiate repayments and sign off the agreements. Required to visit debtors at their employer and residential address in order to resolve the matters
Commission Only, the payment structure will be discussed with successful candidates. Please Do Not apply if you want a fixed monthly income, remuneration based on individual performance, and there is no CAP on commission earnable on a monthly basis. You are therefore completely in control of your earning potential.
Attributes: Honesty, Assertiveness, Ability to work under pressure & handle difficult debtors. Good Negotiator, Computer Literate and Hard Working. Basic Excel knowledge. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with debtors. Self-Motivated, Target Driven, Fast Learner and ability to work independently. Must be fluent in English and one additional language.
