The South Africa Market Lead is Goat's ambassador and leader within South Africa. The primary responsibility for the role is to ensure consistent and long-term growth of Goat within the local market. The position is responsible for managing billings pipelines and new business for Goat across the country. In particular, the Market Lead is expected to build and maintain positive relationships with the local GroupM and WPP agencies.The Market Lead is not only responsible for ensuring the growth of Goat within the local market, but also for leading the local account management team. Our Account Managers are leaders within the Goat business who expertly project manage the execution of influencer marketing campaigns while maintaining exceptional client relationships. As the primary revenue generator for Goat, this team's success will impact the overall success of the agency.In addition to leading the account management team, this role will also provide leadership and management to all Goat staff based in Johannesburg. Working with the global leadership team, the Market Lead will oversee and manage performance appraisals, hiring and expanding the team, internal communications, and alignment to Goat's global culture. As Goat's ambassador and leader within SA, this role will play a critical part in shaping the agency's future success.Performance Requirements

xe2x97x8f Take direct ownership and management of Goat's local billings and local agency relationships. Report and forecast against these to the EMEA Regional Lead
xe2x97x8f Ensure your Account Management team delivers against Quarterly and annual billings targets set by the Nexus Lead and local CFO.Targets will be set per month, per quarter and per annum.
xe2x97x8f Excellent commercial awareness, able to understand, advise and consult prospective clients on their marketing strategy and advocate the advantages of Goat's services
xe2x97x8f Excellent people leadership skills, able to exceptionally lead, manage and motivate your team to deliver against agency targets and expectations
xe2x97x8f Confidently lead local pitches for the agency
xe2x97x8f Represent the Goat brand across agencies, clients, GroupM and with the industry at large
xe2x97x8f Work closely with the senior management team to execute the growth strategy for the Goatxe2x97x8f Liaise with internal GroupM and WPP leadership teams to ensure that Goat is a considered and integral part of local client plans across the group
xe2x97x8f Managing team morale and engagement, providing leadership and ensuring the local team is successful
xe2x97x8f Liaising with the global leadership and internal communications teams to ensure that messaging and communication is consistent across markets
xe2x97x8f Uphold Goat's values, standards and processes. Ensuring that the local teams are operating and delivering campaigns to global standards
