Job Description
The Girls Music Department invites applications for the abovementioned position which will be available from 1 January 2025. This is a peripatetic flute and theory teaching position for students from Grade 3 - Grade 12.
- xc2xb7 A suitable professional qualification and appropriate educational experience
- xc2xb7 A degree in the appropriate subject area is a prerequisite
- xc2xb7 The ability to teach music theory lessons from beginner to a Grade 6 level
- xc2xb7 Preparing students for external music examinations
- xc2xb7 A willingness to work after hours, along with strong adaptability and flexibility skills
- xc2xb7 A passion and vision for music, especially within the extramural space
- xc2xb7 An understanding of girls in the musical space
- xc2xb7 A high level of organisational, administrative and communication skills
- xc2xb7 An interest and vision for a student-centred holistic education programme
- xc2xb7 A willingness to work within the values, Christian ethos and mission of the College
- xc2xb7 Proof of registration with SACE
